Not good today . Only one till open and a member of staff doing a stock take on batteries next to a queue of 8 people . Also no strong bags in the store only the green ones and to he green one split as soon as I out the shopping in it. I shop here a lot maybe they were having a bad day? When you spend over 100 quid a week in a ship you expect to be able to carry your shopping home and not stand there in a building queue watching some woman on the floor doing a stock take that's just lazy in retsil.

Without doubt one of the less inspiring stores that always appears to have no staff so queues can quite long with only the tobacco counter being a till point. The staff aren't particularly welcoming either and you will be lucky if they utter a word to you.

A medium-sized Co-op with the vast majority of items you might want.

The bakery section, though small-ish, has plenty of choice.

Those looking for a vegetarian, vegan or free-from selection will find the usual brands here both in the fresh and frozen sections. I didn't notice any 'Beyond Meat' brands however, so manage your hopes accordingly.

Being near the station this Co-op has saved me in a pinch many times.

A whole aisle is dedicated to alcohol and cordials.

A pleasant Co-op that's really handy. Be aware it's hugely popular with the school pupils during term time, so avoid it at 13:00 ish and after 15:00.

Basic store with lots of choice but also lots of empty shelves. Small Tescos close by is closed so is getting more custom but the Coop has not responded by increasing their supply.
A chance missed to get more customers.

Staff we're more interested talking about their social smoking and how to just vape in the toilet if they wanted a quick break rather than serving customers e.g. missing barcodes because they weren't even looking at the product. Had to speak over them to ask for a bag... not the best

Good supermarket, I wish there was a self checkout here but it's usually ok. Their selection of cakes is great and there's a Costa machine in here which is nice

Security guard lounging all over Costa coffee machine on the phone saying "a white man wouldn't take this " . Don't really want to hear this as I walk in a shop ....just sort of sets a tone ...please keep your conversation to yourself . Apart from the bad start staff on tills are good and always try to open another till when the queue gets busy

Bigger than your standard co-op so it sticks as much larger range. However the offset is that it is not a local so had normal supermarket opening his rather than a local co op opening Hours so check before you go that it is open if your going off peak hours. Free parking at the back of the store and bike racks at the front
