Co-op Food - Lancaster Road

I am a regular of the Co op. Both at the Holly bush convenience store & the 102 Lancaster Rd store. As I have difficulty walking very far I rely on assistance/help with shopping. I have found staff @ both shops excellent. They reserve goods for me when I ring them up & this is a huge help when items are popular & go out of stock quickly. Ashley & Michael at the Holly bush branch have been a great help to me. I really think it is only fair to give credit where it is due. Nobody has ever been rude to me. Love the food (when I can get it lol) thank you to all.

A selection of fresh British produce, I can say their Meat/Poultry and fresh vegetables are always of to a higher standard. Might be a small store but they sure pack a lot in. Can be busy at times but have found staff to be friendly and helpful. Longer opening hours are also convenient if you have forgotten something. Also has a ATM in store and a pretty selection of fresh flowers.

I've been going to James Whitaker for a couple of years now. Great haircut in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Never been so embarrassed to be a British citizen when I made a purchase in this Co-Operative branch and handed over a Royal Bank of Scotland £20 note only for the shop assistant (a British Woman) to call over another assistant and ask in front of every other customer’Do we take these notes?’ . I fully understand that as a Scotsman working in London these things may happen if shop staff are ignorant of British currency notes but never been so embarrassed and humiliated in my life in front of other customers to be both Scottish and British! I’ll never cross there door again, ignorant woman. Formal complaint being lodged with co-operative customer services also demanding an apology in writing.

A very convenient store has pretty much everything you need even in this small store,I like how it gives back to the community unlike other supermarkets out there. I mostly buy catfood and fresh produce which doesn't cost the earth such a lovely variety of freshly baked goods,I only wish they had more vegetarian meals and sandwiches but other than that good friendly polite staff who help pack your bags properly :)

This place is great for almost everything you need, its prices are very reasonable and the staff are very helpful and genuinely nice people who work tirelessly to keep the shelves filled up at all times

Recently re-opened after a re-fit, so larger fridges etc. All very clean and fresh looking! Staff great as ever...friendly and always up for a chat....and they have now got the shelves stocked back properly after the re-fit!

Great staff and good value food, shame the outside looks so tatty and unloved. Prefer the dark grey co-op branding to the 80’s green.
