Co-op Food - Gale Street

A pleasant small shop aimed mainly at local residents. Always kept clean and well stocked with branded goods as well as Co-operative own products. Mostly groceries and other essentials. The prices are mostly what you'd expect from a small local shop, though some items are certainly overpriced. You can always find plenty of good deals though, often 2 for 1 which you should definitely look out for on your visit. Very pleasant staff ensure the store runs smoothly. Open early till late every day of the week.

I don't shop here very often. It's one of those 'on the way home ' shops. It has variety of items and there's always some sort of offer going on. It has a free cash machine. It seems the staff are pleasant. It's a bit cramped.

Trying to place an online order with this shop and they keep rejecting it, I even rang the store for an explanation which was 'try in half an hour there's a problem with the machine' which I did and they still rejected it, if your machine is broken (which I doubt as I tried on Friday and Sunday) why are you still online with deliveroo? I presume the staff can't be bothered which is sad because I use this shop daily in person and now I don't want to go back in there!

Lovely local shop, but no hand sanitisation as you go in or out, also no cleaning spray at cash machine.

Over priced, half the staff are rude and most of the time they will not let people in about 30 mins before closing.

There is Blond woman working there always looks angry and rude to everyone... or just looks like it.. and I saw few steelings people just run away with stuff if there is security guy or not..

Nice convenience food and groceries shop. Decent price and good value for many. Not a lot of varieties of continental products but there are enough
