There’s nothing in there and what is there is more expensive than other stores. I can’t believe you can’t buy fresh veg in there. It’s also uncomfortable to shop in there at the moment as the temperature feels lower than it is outside. The poor staff are literally just grinning and bearing it. I feel so sorry for them.

Very very rude staff member.
Went there to collect my parcel and for some reason that Old Asian lady was very rude with me, I showed her my email and ID, but for some reason she said she don't know how to type in the barcode and she needs the actual barcode to scan in the email. But there was no barcode In the email.i told her mam u can type in the barcode it's not the first time I am collecting.but she kept arguing with me and in the end she said i can't do anything. Asked another staff member who easily type in the code and gave me parcels. Pathetic service.
If u don't know how to do the job u shouldn't be there .....

I and my family have been customers at this premises, before it was a McColls. It was originally a Co-Op. About 4 months ago, I went to collect a package as they also hold items, for collection.

I was on the verge of collecting, when an eastern-European white female colleague, interrupted a business transaction, and told the Asian male and female counter staff, that I may not be the person as listed on the package, and referred to me as A CRIMINAL. To my face, in the third person, as if I didnt exist.

After 10 minutes of back-and-forth, and her threatening to call the police because she said 'they will take a look at me and deal with me' (which I welcomed), I was advised to leave. With my package in their possession, (which I paid for).

I contacted their head office and explained everything in detail - and guess what? I still didnt receive an apology, let alone a telephone call.

Customer service to this company - means absolutely nothing.

If you happen to be a person of colour, be careful of parting with your cash (and they're now in administration) and the person I described, still works there and has cigarette breaks outside the shop.

I wouldnt even give this place a half-a-star.

Do not use this store for parcel collection. Their systems do not work properly and they won't give you your parcel, whilst also providing very very poor customer service.

I used to go here when it was a co-op. I enjoyed it. But then came 2017 where McColl's took over a lot of co-op stores. I went here, They had nothing. Very poor service.
