Costcutter

This is perhaps one of the larger convenience stores in Nuneaton to operate under the 'Costcutter' branding. Rumour has it that the current store will be moving lock; stock and barrel into a brand new, purpose built building currently under construction a short walk away from the existing site. Exciting times lie ahead.

The current grocery range is generally good, with a broad mix of ambient; fresh and frozen goods with a fair amount of promotional activity in store. Pricing varies, but due to the designation as a 'convenience' store, prices will be generally higher than in a comparable supermarket.

Despite the slightly cramped nature of the shop floor environment, the store contains a post office counter at the rear which provides a wide range of services and is open six days a week. This will be a blessed relief to those whom, like me, hate; loathe and detest driving into the town centre!

A free to use cash point; free car park and friendly staff will seal the deal for most customers.

Brilliant local shop, however too many people let in without face masks and no restrictions on the amount of people let in at anyone time. Went in yesterday and nearly half the customers were not wearing masks and it was busy!

Excellent shop but there are too many people without face masks on. Put a sign on the door saying face masks are compulsory and also question anyone not wearing a mask.

Profiteering through covid19, many prices inflated to ridiculous hikes. £4.99 for 4 tins napolina tomatoes which should be £2. Carling at 4.89 for 4 yet same product next door at 4.50. No discount on a small bottle of Malibu at £16.99 instead of £12. I will never shop there again.

Love my new local shop. Has way more variety than expected, at great prices. Staff are all wonderful. Saves me visiting the bigger supermarkets a lot.

By far the best shop in the community, lovely staff,affordable prices the list goes on!
