Great shop. Good selection of treats and drinks. Post office always open so you can sort post office chores even on a Sunday.

It’s shut. At 6pm, it’s shut. What’s the point of a shop that shuts at 6 on a weekday.

Some (not all) staff here are rude. I’ve seen them being rude to others including an elderly lady simply because she scanned rather than put her pin into a machine when doing some form of cash transaction. Today they stopped doing the post office at 4pm. I went in at about 3.30pm and there was a comment between the two staff (one certainly involved in being rude to the elderly lady previously) about ‘why does everyone leave it til the last minute’. I stated ‘was that comment directed at me?’ as I was the only one with a parcel at the til and she said it had been quiet for a while but now everyone had come in at once when they were trying to the tills and looked to laugh it off presumably as she didn’t think I’d have any response to the comment. Also the drinks fridge was always warm

Well, I have to disagree with the previous reviews.
I have seen a massive improvement here in the last month or so.
As someone who has worked in retail, I understand that some situations are out of the managers control and as anyone who’s managed staff before would be able to understand.
You cannot expect 1 manager to be there every day, all day - it’s not like the manager lives above the shop!
Improvement takes time, this shop was really struggling a few months ago and I avoided it if I’m honest but there have most definitely been steps to improve this.
I always find the staff friendly and helpful. I also see the manager mucking in a lot (covering tills, stocking shelves etc), which I can tell you, doesn’t happen often.
In most retailers, the manager is expected to do all the paperwork etc that managers have to do and they aren’t allocated time to also work the shop floor.
I don’t see the staff having to post on local Facebook groups and taking flack for early closing or staff shortages which I’m sure is a relief to them as some people were just rude.
Overall, a massive improvement and no doubt, the issues that arise will be dealt with swiftly and properly.

This shop gets worse. Yesterday bit of snow about so it didnt open first thing. I got out in my car why couldnt the manager, who never seems to be there anyway. Didnt open till turned 9. Fully agree with previous post. Girls in shop early morning on their own. Is this safe? What if they had an accident? Do Morrisons even care about the staff. Working on your own is not allowed where I work. At least my employers care what happens to me. Staff always try to be friendly but how can one person serve both the shop and the post office and deal with deliveries all on their own.

Shop seems to be getting worse, there is either far too many staff working on there's even been one time I went in and there was one staff member working because the new manager had made the decision that they weren't coming in till half 9 so i think the shop is getting worse not better.

Having just moved close to this store my partner returned an item( post office )no tape to seal parcel told her to buy some having explained didn't have any should have sealed it before she said would have if had any then on leaving called her rude and member of staff said don't care

The new manager is very arrogant towards the customers and also towards certain members of staff but generally all staff ..not a people person
