Great helpful staff, it's the best of the Jempson stores

Called in today at 3pm 2 staff were on the till there was no hello or eye contact whatsoever when we walked in.The shop looked generally untidy and shelfed items were not looking particularly well presented found lots of out of date product scattered throughout the store. I drew attention to the young lady on duty to some reduced priced cheese(7/8 packs) that was 10days out of date !!it would have been too much effort to have done much more at this point in the way of saying about the other out of date items I'd seen.To me it's extremley poor staff training especially with stuff 10 days out of date!. I'd lost interest in shopping in the store by then so my partner and i both walked out not keen on buying anything.

They’re always immaculately presented, with plenty extra special (and often locally produced) products.

How many shops these days greet you with a genuine hello when you enter?

Somehow, Jempson’s have pulled off the modern day shopper’s demands with the care and warmth of an olden day local shop.

Was charged £2 for an item. When I looked at it later it was marked £1 rrp. Scammers!
Stock up at Tenterden Tesco or Waitrose before you go to Northiam, do not be ripped off by Jempson's.
