I had the best customer experience with Danielle at Whistle Stop! She was so lovely and helped me get to my platform on time.

It’s a great place to grab a coffee and wait for your train. The staff are friendly, kind and caring. Would recommend to anyone coming too, from or through Preston

I asked if they sold phone cables to be told they ONLY sell iPhone cables. I need a micro usb (or Android OG) since my backup phone uses this format. I said to the man at the counter that the world has more than just Apple in it and he said “I don't care, have a nice day.” with sarcasm ever present in his tone. After his attitude, I wouldn't even buy a pack of chewing gum in your shop. This man doesn't belong in a customer facing role. I wouldn't even have him doing phone/email work. Maybe his skills would be put to better use in an admin or office role where he is kept away from the public.

I will not be using the whistle stop in the future. This was my first experience of this shop and it's a shame that the cashier didn't offer any alternatives such as a shop that understands that the world doesn't revolve around Apple.

Nice sandwiches, kind and respectful and helpful staff at the counter. Well worth it if you’re in preston station and you need something to eat!
