Sainsbury's Local

A smaller version of Sainsbury’s but much friendlier than the nearby Tesco Express. A post office a adjacent to the store.

Parking is a nightmare, as it's very busy and there are limited spaces. Usual 'Sainsburys local' store facilities, a cashpoint and a handy post office. Post office is separate and has different opening hours.

Whilst it may lack the individuality and personality of the independent shop that preceded it, this Sainsbury's Local is actually quite good and much better than most supermarket local/express stores.

The staff are always chatty and cheery and very good at opening up additional tills if they see a queue starting to form. Their stock range covers most things that you might need from a local store.

The car park outside the store is really quite small and frequently full but there is a free car park across the road which is often easier to use.

Nice friendly staff. Well organised. Quite good selection of essentials. If you look carefully you can find the ingredients for some interesting meals.

Good products but atrocious service, lady namee carlee gave me attitude "because I should be self isolating" at first I thought she was joking but it turns out she was deadly serious and really was giving me attitude. Hope you have a word with her cos that is not good customer service.

They let people in without masks, they do not care about the vulnerable customers who do not want to be in the shop with ignorant people without masks.

Most expensive grocery in the UK ans suggest going to Discounters Aldi and Lidl as well as Iceland instead

The so called manager Stuart has just had a wonderful review to the Sainsbury's complaint department for the way he talks to customers and his rudeness . This is my local store and I will never go there again . !!!
