One Stop

Unfortunately today the service wasn't up to the standards at all.
Kate, the Shift manager, was in a terrible mood.
Her attitude made me wonder if she is one of those people who hate foreign origin customers only for the sake of been born outside the UK
But to my surprise she wasn't exactly very friendly to other customers in the shop either. Comments about her poor manners were shared by other customers and me outside the shop.
While waiting to be served I had also witnessed an unkind treatment of another shop assistant (blond mature lady) to another customer in the Post Office.
It's a pity. Until today I had the best opinion about Beccles (Worlingham) One Shop. Not any more.

Bog standard One Stop (part of Tesco). One problem, though. Working here does something to some of the staff. Staff that have previously been very friendly to me have become rude after years of shopping there. Also, they have no idea how to run a Post Office. They just haven't been trained properly. I get the impression that the franchisee makes life very difficult for staff there.

Good shop open right till 11pm each night which is handy. They do however seem short staffed. That's not a poor reflection on the staff though always friendly.

Top quality customer service, even after I was a bit miserable over a minor mistake. Thanks Lewis & the rest of the team for resolving my issue promptly & going above & beyond usual duties!

I love one stop in worlingham as all the staff are helpful and friendly. And always a warm welcome. 😁
