Co-op Food - Southbourne - Cranleigh Road

This is a great little shop with a comprehensive selection of food including an on site bakery and a free from section. It's my local shop and I can usually get what I need. The prices are competitive and there are often deals. There is an ATM in the store. It is open until 10pm every night too.

I've bought something to take to a barbecue party. A young lady who served me is friendly. I don't know why people wrote on their reviews that a women was grouchy. If only you lot knew that working in this company won't let you have a tea break. Leaving you working on the shop floor on your own, while the manager and the assistant manager no where to be seen shame on you.

The 5 stars go to the staff who appear to be overworked and I guess, underpaid. I always look forward to popping in to chat to Sheena, Denise, Sue, Tom, Matt, and lovely Tash (apologies if I missed anybody) . They work hard, are understaffed and put up with ongoing harassment from a few local brats. They deserve medals and respect as do most retail workers.

Great shop no question about that ,but why do there staff stand out side shouting to the top off there voices most mornings from when there are opening up too customers starting to come in .getting fed up with my sleep pattern getting disturb ..... co.op get a grip on this

Went in today today to try and exchange some eggs which had questionable dots all over them only to be told I cannot exchange them as two eggs were missing (I had to crack them open to see if the yolk was okay and it wasn't). Very upset, maybe new staff needs to be trained on customer service. Old staff is very hard working and has always been helpful.

Easy to shop, sometimes busy but always quick & easy

Went into day for some shopping staff unfortunately had the can’t be bothered attitude. It’s also over priced

Fresh bread and well stocked shelves. Friendly, helpful staff..all I could want from my local shop.
