Staff are wonderfully and friendly... always a tidy shop.. good cheap produce. . Just what you want from your local corner shop...

An Absolute Lifeline in Somerford

Just over a year ago, I moved into a social housing flat here in Somerford, Christchurch, Dorset and have quite frankly never looked back! Everyone around here seems delightful and the community spirit is tangible.

Of course one of the first places I needed to visit in this area so close to home was the local One Stop convenience store for my essentials. And I have been very pleasantly surprised by this particular store, which seems to be the social hub of the village!

All the staff are nice, friendly and approachable. They also work hard to make sure everybody's shopping needs are catered for. There was one occasion when I was nearly at the end of my tether, due to my mum's condition, so I popped in to One Stop and despite being in quite a desperate state was attended to by one of the staff and given a few helpful suggestions. I don't think you would get this sort of service in just any old shop anywhere, but in this case One Stop went above and beyond!

I nearly always emerge from the shop feeling better than when I went in, so they must be doing a lot right!! It is just one of the things in Somerford which make living here a real pleasure. Congratulations!

Normally good but when they shut early and they literally ser you come up and lock the door it's a bit rude of the workers, most probs not going there again

I liked the one stop coke for 70p
