My daughter says the staff are very nice particularly the manager and it has a good range of products at low prices! J

I had a small item to post and requested a certificate of posting, but the manager refused to accept my item for posting and made up an excuse telling me that because I'd paid for the postage online, it could not be accepted and that I should return the following day. This was not true as when I drove to another post office down the road they accepted it without any issues at all. I want to support a local business and I always made a point of buying items in the shop when using the post office, but the attitude of the manager can be quite rude and unhelpful. I will therefore avoid using this shop and go elsewhere.

I have been going to this store since long before it was a Londis and ever since it was taken over by the current ownership it has gone drastically downhill, with a distinct lack of customer service.

The boss in particular is rude, closes the Post Office early without notice, just when he feels like it.

You come in to collect a parcel you've paid your hard earned money for, have been eagerly awaiting and he won't even go and get it when there is plenty of time left on their defined Post Office opening times.
Collect+ lists the Londis opening times, but he decides parcel collections are only available during Post Office hours, yet he also cuts them short.

BTW anyone looking to get postage sorted, expect to be ripped off and have him charge you over the odds, go to Redhill Belfry PO or the ones in neighbouring villages/towns for your Royal Mail delivery needs, they actually understand how the postage charges work.

Prices aren't discounted as is claimed in the marketing on Google.

For local food shopping or the like either go to John's Shop near Fairalls or Lindley Stores near the Shell Garage.

Hopefully at some point in the future new owners will take over this place and run it with a respectful attitude towards customers.

Appalling customer service from the gentleman in the Post Office. Every time I've been in, he's come across as deliberately unpleasant. Minimum spend of £10 on card in the shop, which seems so archaic nowadays.

Literally every time I come here to try to post something the post office person supposedly isn’t there. It’s got to be the most useless post-office I know!
Just turned up now, 2.25pm to send something that’s been pre-paid for … and he said “post office doesn’t open until 2.30pm” while standing behind the post office desk 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈
