Great supermarket! Love the 35p chocolate bars! Very good value for money!

I found it more comfortable to shop in this branch compared to the one in city center. Feels bigger and less crowded!

Narrow range of stock, oppressive decor, rude unhelpful staff who are too busy talking to each other to serve customers. Not good.

Very Rude staff. They might as well employ the Ku Klux Klan. Tesco next door a lot better .helpful staff .better prices.plus no kkk in sight .

Went in to buy some beers. Just one person on the tills who was already serving someone, fair enough, I waited patiently for her to approve my purchase and possibly check my ID, even tho this would only take her seconds to do. She finished with her customer and to my amazement asked for the next one! I said excuse could you help me and she said yeah just a minute like she already knew I was waiting, so why did she not help me before she helped someone else? Meanwhile the self service till is blocked by me waiting and so another queue is forming, after waiting a long time I left my stuff there for her to deal with and went next door to tesco where there were multiple staff on the tills and I was served almost straight away. Very poor service sainsburys.

After my experience today I understand the negative reviews here. Sainsbury's, you need to do better. Invest in customer service training to prevent your employees from driving away customers. You have a Muslim male employee who makes disparaging, unprofessional comments like "I'm Muslim and I know what I'm talking about" and "You should read more (about Islam)".

For reference, I'm visibly Muslim and absolutely not interested in being lectured about my religion in a supermarket. It shouldn't have happened and I would like to know that this employee will not be allowed to cross boundaries with other shoppers in the future.
