The shop is overpriced, frequently with no affordable stock, the employees look incredibly overworked, all the chillers just broke for the second time in half a year.

Wish we could go back to the previous store. It was just an off-license, but at least it didn't pretend to be something else.

This place seems to be incredibly poorly managed. At uni, I will literally go out of my way to go to Tesco's or Sainsbury's in Headington shops than shop here. Only buy here as a last resort.

The staff are quite helpful if you need anything. That's about the only plus for this place.

Staff do not say excuse me or offer any help, get in your way, quite rude, as a student who goes almost every day for the last 2 years, poor quality staff. Watch out for average height bald guy who walks in your way and makes you feel uncomfortable. Some of younger staff are a bit better, staff should say excuse me more when near shoppers and sound more enthused. DO NOT GO WHEN LOTS OF STUDENTS ARE INSIDE OR JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE A SAINSBURYS OR TESCO WHERE YOU'RE NOT CRAMMED AND WALKED INTO

How does co-op allow this bad service and rubbish management. We need a decent shop but the people who manager it are shocking. Also why are you staff so aggressive and rude.. yes the bald guy is super rude !! Also the girl Leanne is a nasty witch who just stares at you

Staff were rude and a lot of people were waiting for someone to come help. When we went to ask for help the person was very impolite. We were also told, rather rudely, we couldn’t use cash an hour before closing which, as a fellow shop worker, seems very early to be cashing up.

It's bearable as the only shopping option near campus.
Pos: good selection of different foods and beverages. Accessible with lots of self service counters. East Asian food brandshace their own section, which makes me happy to see.
Neg: From what I've heard from friends who work/ed there staff are underpaid for their labour and get treated badly by the business. For some reason they close at about 7.45pm instead of the stated 10pm. The food price is jacked up because it's on a uni campus and they can afford to charge high as otherwise you'd have to walk into Cowley or Headington. The store is more likely to have low stock or broken fridges/coolers than to have everything in order. Kind of a honeytrap for hungry students with no time to prepare a packed lunch.

Bottom line: it does the job.

WHY ARE THE FRIDGES NOT FIXED AFTER OVER A MONTH OF THEM NOT WORKING?!?!?! It's the student shop and there is nothing there that is useful to students purely because the fridges are broken. It is also way too expensive for students on a tight student budget.
