I think the idea of going cashless is great! I myself and my wife both use our mobile phones. But what about poor old Morricone's mother, the 80 year old women is on a pension for gods sakes and you reckon she is going to go to the bank and apply for a card? who are you kidding.

honestly, not impressed. their whole idea on cashless purchases isn't for the community as the say, rather, it's for their own greed. all these pigs want is to stop my 80 year-old mother from being able to purchase food from the only store in the area. you people think you're so innovative, think again sheeple. these people are out to scam you...

Hailey's Local Grocery has shown time and time again that it serves the community. The new cashless transition further enhances my view of the store - no longer will I wait in line behind 80 year old grandmas rummaging through their purses. I will be coming back.

Very smart idea to go cashless. Much easier to carry your money around and don't have to be counting hundreds of coins every time I get a frozen meat pie. That guy Samuel has no idea, he just another boomer who doesn't know how to use a credit card. 10/10 would shop again

Absolutely love the idea of going cashless. I’m always stuck behind 80 year old grandmas who are always rummaging through their bags for coins. Also when will you start accepting bitcoin? Gotta always make the customers happy😁

Yes, more of us are using cards and devices such as phones to pay for things but, even by her own estimation,a third of our spending is still conducted in the old-fashioned way, with cash. So why rush this change before many of us are ready? My mother is in her 80s and relies on cash. She's on a pension and, every week, she goes to her bank and withdraws the cash she needs. She knows exactly how much money she has in her purse and she spends it carefully. This move to eliminate cash says to people like her that they don't matter. We are a better community than that or I thought we were. And who really benefits from a cashless grocery store? The store!I found research that concluded that people who don't use cash tend to spend more because it"s harder for them to keep track of their spending.Going cashless will help the store make more money, and that's what this is all about. I urge everyone to tell Ms Astaire exactly what they think about this so-called better shopping experience.

Hailey Astaire! Very impressed that this store not our “average grocery store”! I am totally excited no see the whole store going cashless! Last time with my 80 yr old ma, we had a great shopping experience!! I am looking forward to bring her again to experience this modern way of shopping!!!!

I really do question the morals of this establishment. How on earth are old codgers like myself able to keep up with all this technology business? I really hope you reconsider your decision to go cashless otherwise I'm afraid I will have to go down the road to Sam's new business for 80 year olds and over.
