Co-op Food - Westdale Lane

Good customer service, have 90% of goods most of the time however till line up can be awkward when busy hours 8-9 3-4.

A great shop on my patch. Great that coop offer 10% discount for NUS cardholders - absolutely love it!!

I'm not sure if this store is the one that delivers via Just Eat (there are 2 stores on Westdale Lane) but my review is about the one that DOES deal with JE orders .
I have used this service four times, and once- ONCE - the order was right.
This delivery option is fantastic and so, so handy if you can't make it to the shops but please, PLEASE will you train your staff to check orders more thoroughly?

Mistakes aside, I appreciate you 😊

A small Co-op with a fair selection of food and a free mini-carpark.
A post box and clothing donation bin are located near/in the carpark.
Prices are slightly higher here than most other shops in the area however it's very useful if you need something quickly.
The staff are fantastic and have always helped with requests.
There's a very small frozen section with limited choice if you need something last minute.
The fresh produce is usually of high quality, however, unsurprisingly, this changes from time to time based on local conditons.
The bakery produce is replaced daily, so you can count on it being in stock in the mornings.
There are four registers, two are employee operated, and the other two are self service.
Ready made meals are also sold here if you need something quick.

Terrible experience today. Very rude woman serving me.
First tried to help a lady who wanted to return a parcel instead of serving me.
She gave the lady the wrong info about which co op she needed to go to.
I explained she was giving out the wrong info. I repeated it several times. She ignored me. Then when I turned my head she served someone else instead of me.
When she finally decided to serve me she said my coupon was out of date. I said it wasn't and put it down on the counter. Then she accused me of throwing the coupon at her.
I haven't been in that shop for a long time. I will never go in again. I actually have dexterity problems .

Great local co-op. Free, easy parking, long convenient opening times and always well stocked. Quality of produce is always good and recently prices have become competitive with some larger supermarkets. Staff always seem happy to be there and with new self service tills has sped up the transaction time too. My regular local store of choice.

Don't expect them to pack your shopping for you, they are happy to watch you struggle.

Great Store and Great Staff - essential are till late
