Co-op Food - Tywyn

Been here three times on my family holiday. There is spacious parking area. The staff were very kindly. Good selection of products at reasonable price. Midi sized store in small coastal town.

This midi sized store packs in as much as its bigger rivals. The prices are not the keenest, but you wont feel robbed by doing a weekly shop here. The car park is adequate, if a little on the small side (easily resolved by shopping out of peak times), and it is very central. The store is well branded and clean and modern. A good place to shop for locals and visitors alike.

Visited this store few time’s during the holiday. Good quality produce and plenty to choose from. The gluten free sausages were particularly good. Coop’s own brand products are pretty good with minimal unwanted preservatives etc.

Good size, good selection. However some shelves/items often have low stock.

This place is a monopoly, no other big supermarket nearby and it shows. Stock can be very low and prices are very expensive for some of the basics.

I would like to say thank you to the co op staff who work very hard at filling the shelves and to the till staff who are always pleasant and helpful. Like other reviews I agree that at holiday times some of the shelves empty very fast . I think it's hard because there are so many more people here in the summer and I guess the warehouse is not big enough to order so much more stock that is needed. I do agree with other reviews that co op is expensive except for things like the meal deals.

With its long opening hours the Tywyn Co-op is an essential part of our holidays. Thanks to the friendly staff for being around when we need you

Sadly, mostly due to the impact of Brexit there are currently severe supply issues at the Co-op in Tywyn.
But manageable if you're not too fussy about what you're looking for for core supplies.
