Quite simply my favourite food store in the world. This shop is like dr who's tardis. Their shelves are full of great food products in countless varieties to suit all tastes. They even have a fully stocked fresh meat butchers where every product looks vibrant and fresh. One thing you will find at Ali Babas is variety. They stock over 10 different types of honey, bread, coffee, tea, cheese etc. I could go on about the many sweet and savoury snacks, the numrous types of dried dates and figs, olives, cooked meats, dairy produce. For those who smoke, there are rolling papers of every size and type as well as a great selection of cigarettes, rolling tobacco and vapes. I could go on and on. I'm fortunate that Ali Bs is local to my home but I'd gladly travel across the entirecity to shop there in this unique and excellent place.

Ali Baba is a multi national retail shop providing services and goods from various countries and cultures including the Arabian, Middle Eastern, Asian, and African. There is a wide variety of produce not readily found in supermarkets, at somewhat affordable prices.

Wow what an amazing shop! We stopped on our way back from the covid vaccination centre, I don’t think we’ve been in such a clean and well organised food shop it’s like an Aladdin’s cave this shop goes on and on with a massive selection of goods at amazing prices we’ll be back for sure as it’s well worth the trip across town. Staff were friendly too

Highly recommended store, friendly staff, great and diverse ethnic selection of goods and products, and they are open every day until midnight.

Huge selection of everything especially for selective cultures and specific healthy diets, and fasting.
Most other convienience is also catered for too, family munchies are huge here.
Clifton St has always had a few issues as most locals know but I do like Al's corner, Never had trouble with the youths if you see them hanging around, It's part of the area and lifestyles of those around it👍

OK OK OK this place gets a massively bad rep, kids hanging about outside and issues regarding tax. However as multi national shop there are loads of different foods from various countries and that suit the Arabian, Middle Eastern, Asian, and African communities. Some of the best soft drink options in the CDF.
Most other convienience is also catered for too, family munchies are huge here.
