The prices of the food are very affordable. It’s just I was put off today as i was in the shop with my friends and while one of them had a handful of food she was overcharged. We went back in after 2 minutes and asked to check it again. The cashier kept making mistakes on prices and once added up it came to a total of £5.77 . When we went back to check it then went to a total of £5.91 which was completely different. She was quite rude to us by telling us that its right but as we checked our phones the total was meant to be £4.59 . They charged us £1 more then it should of. We didn’t go back in the end as we didn’t like how rude this cashier was even though we were her customers. I found later on the receipt that it had the total of £5.77 but not a list of the products i bought and how much they were?

I went to this store not long ago and had quite an unpleasant experience, I’ve never had any problems with this store before and I had also been there the day before but this time honestly made me think twice about going because of this certain cashier. When I first approached her she seemed fine however her attitude quickly changed. I was buying my friends and I some food to take home, and before I got to the till I added up everything to make sure I had enough money, the purchase should have come to £4.59. The woman behind the till scanned my items and it rounded up too £5.77, I didn’t realise the price was wrong until I had paid. Luckily I noticed right before we were about to leave, so we politely went back to the cashier and said that the prices had come out wrong. She then unprofessionally turned around and said “well what do you want me to do?” in a extremely rude tone, I was immediately shocked and didn’t know what to say. So I went on to explain the prices of each item and add them up, which again should’ve come to £4.59. She herself then added up the products and said one of them was £2 however the price tag said £1, so my friend corrected and pointed that out to her and the woman went on to argue with my friend over the till. We showed her the price tag that said £1 and then she suddenly went very quite and had realised her mistake, however she didn’t apologise. She then went on to say “I can scan them again”, so she did and the price came up to £5.91. I immediately knew why this happened and it was because she sad scanned a 2 for £1 bag of crisps three times right in front of me, and when I addressed this she also argued with me, then went on to read out what she had scanned and stopped when she got to the crisps because I’m guessing she realised she had scanned it one to many times. After this she stood behind the till and said “well I don’t know what you want me to do” which I thought was very inconsiderate and unprofessional. This experience made me feel extremely uncomfortable to the point where in the end we just had to leave because she wasn’t doing anything about the problem and there was a queue of customers behind us. I was very disappointed with how she dealt with the problem as again, I’ve never had any problems before. Unfortunately I never got her name, but I was quite upset that she had made me seem stupid when I knew that she was the one who had created the problem.
