MyCostcutter, is a small supermarket situated in Fulton House at Swansea University. It sells a good range of basic food items, toiletries, cards, household goods, frozen foods, fresh bread/pastries, fruit and veg and alcohol. They also stock medicine behind the counter which is useful if you come down with raging freshers flu, migraines or a crappy hangover. They also have some international food items and gluten free goods which is handy. Don't forget to take your carrier bags otherwise you have to pay for them. They also accept applepay and contactless payments at the till.

Pretty good student focussed shop. Has lots of sandwiches and general lunch on the go items with a meal deal. Includes lots of over seas foods along side British fayre owing to the high number of international visitors. The shop has a post office and is busy and often has queues but they do however operate a takt time system so there are plenty of cashiers at busy periods. Like many venues on campus, could be more cost effective.

>3.89 meal deal and there’s only select crisps and sandwiches

>self service checkouts always closed

>coffee sleeves kept behind the till so you burn your hand on your coffee whilst you wait in the longest queue in the world

>cardboard tasting hot food

Absolutely laughable shop. Jealous of the people on Bay that get a Tesco.

A bit of a mixed bag. A fair selection of products but far too expensive. Difficult to navigate in my wheelchair.

ironic name considering its WAYYY overpriced, bear in mind it’s on a University Campus where students (who don’t have a lot to spend) live and it’s the closest shop to them. A bit of a joke really.

Very disappointed that the lady behind the counter actually wanted to charge me for a couple of empty coffee cups that I wanted to use for the soup I was purchasing.... 20p a cup.
There are loads of us workers on site spending plenty in store so was very disappointing of the lady.

Never has a shop had a more ironic name. Waitrose prices, coop products. Worst or both worlds

Maybe updating your store opening hours might help be useful to people visiting. Just a thought 😂
