Mulberry Cottages

A truly wonderful few days at Keepers House, Leeds Castle. Excellent accommodation with all the details attended to. Great quality shower products and lovely bathrooms. Super comfortable beds too. Plenty of room for all 10 of us and so peaceful and relaxing. The lake at the front with its huge willow tree, ducks, black swans and bossy coots provided the perfect setting for outdoor eating and relaxing. Inside, the sitting room/dining room accommodated us all very well. We could maybe have done with some more fridge space as we seemed to arrive with enough food to feed 10,000 but our cool bags were useful extras. It was great being able to walk to the castle grounds every day and visit the castle itself as often as we wanted to - what a treat! Very happy memories indeed.

Lyndon House Ticehurst Sussex is well appointed with stunning views, the beds were very uncomfortable but toppers were added to all beds which made a great difference. Sofas need replacing rather worn. The table was beautifully laid to welcome us.
I was surprised to be told what to write in the visitors book !

Which strangely had pages torn out ( not well done either ) negative reviews perhaps ?
Overall I would highly recommend this House, we all enjoyed our stay there.

Staying in the Keeper's House in the grounds of Leeds Castle was a very pleasant and unique experience. The accommodation was well prepared for our stay in February, very warm, clean and well laid out. The furnishings and equipment provided were substantial and of good quality, easy to use. It was an ideal place for our family celebration, ten of us stayed for four nights.

An added bonus was that the price paid included tickets for entry to the castle and the maze, plus swimming pool and gym etc. at a nearby hotel so we took full advantage of all that.

As far as we are concerned I can think of no negatives, everything was positive and I can fully recommend it .

The cottage is very well 'turned out', with all the facilities that one might need to be comfortable. I did think that, as the cottage was meant to be 'child friendly' as well, a couple of stair gates (top and bottom) wouldn't go amiss, if small children were to be part of the party - especially as the stairs are very narrow and steep. The cottage is in a quiet road very near to the promenade and an excellent seafront restaurant overlooking the bay. We found a lovely canal side walk to take with our dog. A lovely break.

À lovely tranquil setting for a clean and comfortable caravan / cottage. We felt very relaxed and at home, not least because of the warm welcome from the owner, Michael, who lives in the adjacent cottage. A thoughtful and delicious welcome pack awaited us on arrival which was much appreciated. There's lots to see and do in the area and we would have no hesitation to stay at Church Lodge on a return trip.

My family and I had planned a special celebration week away 6 months ago ( not Mulberry Cottages ) and sadly 48 hours before we were due to go we were contacted to say the booking had to be cancelled. My husband and I the spent the next day looking for another property to rent for 19 people . Not an easy task as you can imagine at the beginning of July . We were recommended to look at Mulberry Cottages and found the perfect place in Suffolk . I phoned them and the lady I spoke to (Francesca) was an absolute delight , very friendly , helpful and always phoned back when she said she would . Francesca even arranged a private company to hire a hot tub for the property at such short notice . The property was perfect for our needs , very clean , beautiful v large white fluffy towels for everyone . The whole experience with Mulberry Cottages was very easy and would use them again . We enjoyed the stay overall and the lady who owns the property was always available. We rent a property for 12 people every year and we have always found there to be double of everything ( cutlery, plates etc) but this accommodation only had 12 of everything which meant more washing up. We also had to ask for more cooking equipment as we like to cook a meal on Saturday night. The lady owner did provide mixing bowls etc when we asked but we felt a bit bad constantly bothering her. It was also disappointing that there were problems with the heated pool which we specifically wanted for the children- the lady did refund us some money so that was good of her. The property was well located and spacious and warm and every room has comfy beds and is en-suite which is a bonus and we would book it again and would ask for more equipment when we book.

The house was lovely well equipped. bedrooms were all good sizes lovely bedding. Angie was very welcoming. Nice bottle of bubbly in the fridge and packets of cookies on the table yummy. Hot tub got a lot of use very nice. Overall experience wonderful my family all went to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday.
