Like the post before, I left Admiral Taverns last year in November and I am still to be paid for fixtures and fittings and security deposit. My e-mails are simply ignored and my telephone calls have never been returned. What a way to treat your licensees. Don't go near this pubco, they are only interested in 'ripping you off'. They have a disgraceful business ethos, stay well clear.

Update: Despite being told that they would look into the matter and get back to me (see reply below}. I have still heard nothing. Steer well clear...

Disgraceful company, the Chequers in Felsted now closed for the foreseeable future due to total disinterest in spending any money on the pub. Yet another example of removing a village hub and doing nothing. Shame on Admiral Taverns!!!!

Our local pub, the Lincoln Imp Scunthorpe, is a community hub, where new and upcoming bands/artists can go to get their start, the mental health charity Break The Stigma hold meetings, and where everyone feels welcome, is being shut down by this company purely for money. They have no interest in the people who's lives they are affecting, only a quick monetary gain. It is wrong. That pub is not only someone's livelyhood and home (not to mention the multiple employees who work there), it is, for many people, a support network.

They are a business who own many sites and are realising their land is more important , valuable than communities or dwindling customer numbers. Appalling behaviour and only going to end one way for the Lincoln Imp Scunthorpe Closure, fall into dereliction,re apply for planning and get it approved with adaptation and promise of benefit to the council

The people of Scunthorpe want the Lincoln Imp saved, planning permission to knock it down was denied, this a thriving venue, does a lot for the community. Yet Admiral Taverns are closing it anyway. presumably to let if rot until they can sell it and make more money. Pure greed!
