Broadlands is an odd place! Two large office blocks seemingly plonckedin the middle of nowhere, down a small country road. They were built here when the nearby A24 was going to be diverted and widened. It was to have run straight past the front door, making these highly desirable commercial properties. However, budget cuts and local opposition prevented the upgrade of the A24 and so, here Broadlands stands, in the middle of nowhere! The buildings are of quite a high specification and the surroundings peaceful, with gardens and a large fountain. I would certainly prefer to work here compared to a city centre location.
