Henley Royal Regatta

This was our second year at the Regatta and it was a really fun event. Unfortunately it was not as good as last year as the music on the floating stage on Saturday had a more restricted target audience (hence a lot of empty seats). It will not stop us going again next year though.

Excellent social occasion. Great racing. High standards.

Rowing and Pimms....what could be better. Great competitive event with home and international crews. One of the "must do's" on the summer calendar

Fun event to go to. Can get very hot in the summer so make sure your fancy clothes are cool and breathable!

Amazing week in Henley. Very excited to see the Kings Trophy being contested for and for the extra 2 nations invited to compete (Germany and the Netherlands). The weeks rowing was fiercely competitive whilst the food, drink and ambience set by the Regatta was amazing. If you get the chance to visit this once in a lifetime experience, don’t miss the chance!

We loved every minute of it for years and years we are house bound we are 94 but we are still very interested in what’s going on Our son was a very keen rower so much so he still rows to see an eight racing and hear the noise of the blades is a thrill for any one we travelled all over
Europe when he was rowing international we loved it loved every minute

Great event. Have been every year since 1980. It changed. But kept its main rowing values.
