I have known Sondra who runs Begin With Nature for all most one year. She's a really nice lady from Portugal, with a lovely nature ,a great sense of humour & I'm proud to say a friend for life. There's nothing that she doesn't know about every single product that you can buy.

Not completely plastic free, mostly handmade. Worth a look!

Great shop. Amazing products. All natural and handmade.

Lovely place. We came as a family for a soap making workshop and learned a huge amount and each came away with 10 generous bars of cold process soap using with high quality oils that we made ourselves. I felt like we had full choice of what we made. Given this, the workshop was an amazing price. We also enjoyed some time in the shop and I particularly like the Indian Nights body butter. We will be back!

Called into 'Begin with Nature' today as the smell drawers you in when passing. There is an amazing array of soaps and bathroom products. The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about her products. I purchases a 'shower steamer' can't wait to try it later. Would definitely return and recommend a visit when you are in Kendal.
