Ealing Council does NOT care about its residents, with the exception of the wonderful Jenny and Magda at Hanwell Housing Hub. For over three years now I have been trying to obtain help for my vulnerable brother with his repairs problems but, due to COVID .. haaa!! that perennial excuse, they refused to address the issues. As a consequence, all his property and white goods have been destroyed by ongoing leaks and mould and the system does not allow me to intervene. It's all about box-ticking and providing receipts etc, but there is absolutely no empathetic human interaction ... not every problem can be dealt with online. As far as the repairs service goes, it is worse than dreadful. If you disagree with their "analysis" of your problem, they will cut you off, are antagonistic, rude and less than helpful; if this is an outsourced service then cancel their contract forthwith. Remember that it is the residents of Ealing that PAY for Ealing Council services, so please respect us if you wish us to respect you. Think the Daily Mail will be my next port of all - but Jenny and Magda, all hail to you guys at Hanwell Housing Hub - to complain about the repairs service and lack of support/information.

Having lived in Ealing for the past 16 years I can confidently say there is nothing that Ealing Council are able to do efficiently. Top to bottom this I do the worst run council in London. The website is appalling, call centre staff rude and unhelpful, streets jammed with cars, rubbish uncollected… classic lazy Labour leadership.

Same as everyone else it seems. I've been resident for 52 years and the road out front has not been corrected in 80 years or so since it was an actual racecourse in 1930's. Council tax have no idea what they are doing and surveyors seem to think they are council employees when in fact they work for us. We pay their wages and we pay for their nice homes and their comfortable family lives. We pay for their children's education and for the food they eat. They leave us in squaller and laugh in our faces in return. They work for you and you pay for everything they have in life. It is not the other way around. Remember that.

Worse Council Borough, ever so hard to get through to somebody on the online website. It’s so confusing to navigate. I can’t wait to move out of Ealing Borough.! I received a PCN and paid it in good time but now I’ve received a charge difficult with enforcement notice which is very stressful. Trying to con innocent people.! Disgusting.!!

They never answer their phones, they mess up direct debits, they never respond adequately to enquiries, they are happy to build on all any green land or open spaces to the detriment of local residents and never take resident's opinions on board - everything is a money making scheme for Ealing council. They do not care about those who live in their borough.

Worst council. No one has swept our street over 7 months. Sent numerous emails and pictures and still not done. The leaves ended up blocking all the drains in the street causing more damage and costs. What are we paying for. Worst customer service. Operator rude.

Ealing council sent me a fine for turning right at Greenford Rd/The Broadway. They only sent me the second letter with the higher amount and I never got the chance to pay the lower amount. Very dishonest Council, when I asked about the first letter they replied after 3 months with a letter from court.

It’s a shame all the councils are dishonest, they are supposed to represent and protect their residents.

The offense occurred in February 22 and I only received the letter in August 22 (the higher fine), after that I received a court order in Dec 22. I am also not the only one this has happened to, there is an entire forum of people never receiving the first letter.

Have anyone ever tried getting an update on a complaint raising on Ealing Council ?
Ealing Council have Corporate Complaints Policy and really it is not worth the paper it is written on. They don't update, email, phone or communicate with you. Trying all avenues to reach them trust me I will not give up!! Shame on your Ealing Council - don't just walk the walk you need to talk the talk
