My wife and I loved our visit to Mannington. Sure the gardens are not Chatsworth but if anything it's adds to the charm and ambience of the place. All the moans and groans of the last year just disappear as you walk around the grounds of this superb period property.

The tea room is a must. Enjoyed my homemade sausage roll so much I had to compliment the lovely lady behind the counter. What a place to sit outside enjoying our coffee. All round loved Mannington.

Oh and frankly if it's not worth £6.00?? Well I'm scunnered!

This is not a place that will wow you as there really isn't a whole lot to see. Having said that it does have an amazing tearoom with heavenly cakes! So enjoy this at one of the picnic tables under the shade of a tree and that's a lovely afternoon tea sorted. But with a £6 entrance fee you really don't get a tremendous amount of value for money unless you really love a stroll over acres of lawn.

Mannington Gardens is a Royal Horticultural Society partner and therefore free for RHS members; but even if you are not a member; in my opinion, the small fee paid is really good value as the garden is beautiful; it also sits around a medieval moated hall – the house is also stunning and not open to the public, but you can walk around it; highly recommended if you are near Norfolk.

Such a stunning place to visit. I used to stay in a nearby caravan site as a child with my grand parents - it was lovely to visit again now i’m an adult! The boardwalk hasn’t changed at all, such beautiful wildlife to see.

What a great find. Not too big but a nice place to spend a couple of hours. Some great areas for children too. Nice cake at the tearoom. Thoroughly recommend.

A nice little walk around the estate, with plenty of wild life, herons, edable frogs, crayfish, owls, deer, dragonflies and more.
