Love it here! A beautiful gem to walk around and is so peaceful. Can walk for miles around the chase and the kids love to build tippees in the forest. Feel lucky to have this space within a small driving distance

Lovely spot. Nature reserve. Walks, cycle and a visitor centre with cafe and toilets. Easy access to parking £2 for a day and access for everyone. Friendly staff and lovely history of the barn with lots of walking and cycle routes.

The two ladys in the cafe were very moody. One that served us was pretty abrupt. I spoke to a lady I know and she walked out because of them.Being friendly is a big factor working with the public.
We go there a fair amount and the man that works there is pretty good but working with them two would make you like them.It is a nice place but will think again if I see them two behind the counter.

A lovely place for a walk or cycle. Kids play area. Sadly the cafe doesn't open any more.

Should put on their website that when you go to pay for parking its coins only, no option to pay on card or on a parking app....wasted trip for nothing!
Who carries cash nowadays? Most places have contactless/card payments and are on apps you can use to pay for parking! I had 7p in my car, parking is £1. I found out about paying for parking on the reviews as it is not on their website, i assumed it would be on an app or that i could use my csrd to pay but oh no they are still in the dark ages!

Good place for a wander / dog walk / bike ride. It's not particularly big, so explorable in a couple of hours or so. Paths are good for cycling, either taking your own or hiring there.

There is lots of parking for only £1 for the day which is very reasonable. There is also a cafe in the visitors centre serving drinks and snacks, plus toilets, small play area and picnic benches.

Went here for the first time with family and hired bikes for an hour. Reasonable priced hire and good bikes for all. Friendly staff and some very picturesque surroundings and trafficless pathways. Good for a dog walk, walk and explore with kids. Worth visiting as many different walks, cafe and little shop.
