A good place for dog walking and shepherds.

I would not recommend for family outings or for walks. There were faeces everywhere! Big faeces, small faeces, fresh faeces, decomposing faeces...There was a little path going through the hills but with the faeces problem, (it was like an obstacle course), we couldn't walk on it. So we had to face overgrown grass and stinging nettles.

The most poo-free area is closest to the car park.

There was only one bench. There was also a small car park that was very handy. We ended up having our picnic in the car!

Less well known than other local spots so usually quiet. Great views. Choice of circular walks, short and longer. Mix of fields, woods and hills; number of stepped ups/downs. Lovely sloped wooded areas. Good for dogs but on lead around sheep.

Absolutely beautiful scenery! Good with older kids as they can roam freely, there is a gate all around so no worries about your child getting lost. Only downsides are: stinging nettles are everywhere and sheep poo. Haha it was dry so we weren’t too worried! Lovely breeze at the top and all in all a beautiful day out with the munchkins!!

Nice to take a walk on a sunny day, bit easy to get lost and not follow the routes though. We took a long turn and ended up half a mile from the car park!

Lived in area all my life and recently discovered the great walk you can do from the country park to sharpenhoe clappers

Beautiful area to walk and clear the mind. Watch out for the beautiful views and sheep's.

TBH, I just drove in, found a shady spot and had a nap!
Some beautiful views though.
P.s. Don't park under the shady trees. My car was covered in bird poo when I drove off.
Great place though. Would love to walk a dog there.
