Wonderful country park with access to the hills and mountains. Cafe is fab, friendly and has a good selection of food including vegan options.

Beautiful, well kept park complete with ponds and a river. Option to purchase a bag of feed for the ducks, other pond dwelling birds. Nice little cafe with a menu which includes vegetarian options. Plenty of picnic areas as well as toilets and parking on site. The park also has the former residence of opera singer Adelina Patty. A pleasant, relaxing day out.

Great place to visit for a walk with family. Dog friendly, so much space to have a quiet moment. Wonderful views all round of the hiils and the castle. Take a picnic as the café can be a bit expensive, plenty of parking, not badly priced if staying for more than 2 hrs.
If you are a little unsteady under foot take your time, and there are plenty of seats.

Beautiful walk, nice pond and chance to feed the ducks perfect for dogs and children. A nice little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating that is dog friendly and even sell dog ice cream 🍦 😋

Beautiful park with a wide variety of rivers, woods and open parkland. There is an easy route with a hard surface gravel track all the way around with lots of other more adventurous routes.

There are plenty of benches and picnic tables around to stop and rest or eat a picnic if you bring one.

The car park is cheap to stay in, only £2.50 for the day. Toilets facilities are available as well as a cosy coffee shop to get refreshments.

We visited Craig-y-Nos Country Park for the first time yesterday and were surprised at how beautiful and peaceful a place it is. There was plenty of room to park and we paid £1.50 for 2hrs - the machine takes card as well as cash.

The Country Park is managed by the Brecon Beacons National Park and is 40-acres large. It is part of the grounds of Craig-y-Nos Castle. There's a network of paths which are easy to follow, and we found ourselves walking through some beautiful woodlands and alongside the River Tawe that runs through the area.

It's dog friendly but they have to kept on a lead. We were surprised at how quiet it was there, we walked the whole area and only saw a few people out walking. This is definitely somewhere we will be visiting again, it makes for a nice day out!

We where recommended to visit.
We arrived and paid to park.
Had a look around and found a paper map of a walk.
The walk took us out the park and across the road then up the mountain.
The map was not easy to follow but this didn’t really matter as there where so many parts. So we ended up walking across the ridge and along to Donna rogoff and come out in the caves carpark.
Then across the road and back into Craig-Y-Nos park it was a walk of about 5 miles

The park itself it really lovely and has some brilliant places to just sit and think or let the kid’s play.
Toilets where clean
Did not go in for food or the gift shop but both were busy
