Lovely walk up from Betws to this viewpoint. You can find it if you follow the white/black path sign. These start by the bridge over the river from the Hawkshead shop.

We had previously walked along the rivers edge up to the minors bridge and back along past the houses and then up to this view. The path continues onwards for a longer route but we decided to return the way we came.

Lovely abseiling points near the viewpoint beautiful scenery to be seen from the top. A couple hundred feet to the west is about a 25 meter drop great for abseiling and climbing on.

(Translated by Google) I didn't manage to walk the whole trail due to lack of time.. I will definitely come back. I recommend. Beautiful nature, the smell of the forest and silence. The trail is about 10 km or shorter, about 7 km, prepare for mud and beautiful views. However, in the winter time it is quite gray but still has its charm.

Niezdążyłam przejść całego szlaku z braku czasu.. napewno wrócę. Polecam. Przepiękna przyroda, zapach lasu i cisza. Szlak ok.10 km lub krótszy ok.7km przygotować się na błoto i piękne widoki. Jednak w porze zimowej dość szaro ale i tak ma swój urok.

A relatively easy walk up to this lovely viewpoint which boasts fantastic views over the quaint village of Betws Y Coed. The walk begins shortly after the Pont Y Pair Bridge in the Village itself. Follow the White / Black signposted trail. The walk consists of a circular loop. The climb up to the viewpoint is easy enough and will only take approx 15 / 20 mins for an averagely fit person. However, I would suggest good sturdy footwear as the path consists of loose rock / tree routes & forest foliage which can be tricky to navigate underfoot on occasions. Choose to either continue on the circular route or descend back down the route you come. I cannot wait to return in autumn when the trees are changing colours & loosing their leaves!

Great walk from Betws-y-Coed about 20 minutes but is very steep in some places.

Not an easy climb, especially when it’s wet, but the view is spectacular
