Part of Porthkerry park. Lovely place

Great open grassy space. On a clear day you can see over to Watchet, Minehead, Flatholm and Steepholm. From there you can walk through the woods on a coastal path to Porthceri park and the pebble beach. Lovely cool breeze on a hot day.

This is a large open Park which belongs to the people of Barry by bequest. Technically it didn't close but very late evenings attract certain elements which are not family friendly.

I love it here, but the local council are proposing to ban dogs which will be a real shame.
No more days out with the family and dogs.

Beautiful scenic part of Barry. Enough acres of land to keep you and your family occupied for hours on end. Good place to take your dog for walks. Small cafe available for snacks and hot drinks as well as public rest rooms. free entry with car except on certain bank holiday weekends. But this charge can be avoided by walking down the hill as opposed to using your car. when the tide is out you can walk across the porthkerry from the knap beach and vice versa. Also a great place for watching the planes coming into land at Cardiff airport.

A wood that is maintained by Sir Cliff Richard. Cliff purchased the wood in 1976 with the royalties from his smash hit 'Summer Holiday'.
