Royal Mail Collection Office

Terrible is this royal mail in this town . Always closing early . So when parcel is in there office we can never collect it say after work.
And if no one is in why cant you just leave with a neighbour like other companies do .shocking

My letter was 2 pence short on the postage so they delivered a red ticket for my house to do a 10 mile round trip that included an extra £1 fee as well to collect the letter. Rude staff and poor service. But hey no-one there cares anyway. All for two pence

Where to even start...
Poor location - no parking and a tiny little room where you usually end up queueing outside.
Often closes early - at least once a week!
Poor attitude of staff - package left out on the rain then given to me in a large see through plastic bag. No apology or anything. Also had a go at me for collecting the same day to which I explained the issue with often turning up and the place being shut and she denied this (but then admitted well yeah we do close sometimes but only once per week). This isn't correct 3 days last week they shut an hour early.
Don't know how this place is still going, I dread to receive items from the royal mail and would never choose to use them

The post office have forgot they are running a business. Pretty sure some of the staff think they work for the Queen posting letters as a favour. Literally every time I pick up a parcel it closed due to sickness. Never mind the strikes. Go round the back and Literally 10 staff milling about.

Where to start. Retained a covid PCR test stating in tracking that we asked them not to deliver - completely untrue and highly irresponsible. Pushed a card through days earlier without knocking then lost that parcel. Constantly deliver my mail to various other faraway homes, causing those strangers a nuisance. Frequently deliver strangers mail at distant addresses to ours - I feel like an unpaid delivery service. They deserve the bad reviews and need to consider risks and data protection breaches too.

Update 14 Nov 2022 - now redirecting other people’s mail who are not listed for redirection AND redirecting to a complete stranger’s address. This is two years of total incompetence

I do wonder why RM think it’s OK to keep my Xmas cards in their sorting offices. Totally ruined my Xmas as all my family cards haven’t been delivered. No consideration for elderly who weren’t able to see their family & not even their cards. Also, when it suits your posties they throw my parcels on the doorstep but the day before you last strike you took it away again. That was 22 December, so I will have to collect myself & hope I won’t have to queue in the cold! I have been down with flu for almost 2 weeks. Other Companies leave with neighbours or redeliver.! Any support I had for your strike disappeared when you decided 2 days before Xmas to withhold your service & I still haven’t received my Xmas. It’s the public your hurting not your employers!

I missed my original delivery date as I was in work, so rescheduled a redelivery for when I was next available so the same mistake wouldn't happen again. Royal mail ignored this and redelivered my package the very next day. Why ask for a redelivery preference, then ignore it and blame customers for something not in our control. Saving myself the stress and redelivered charge and going to pick it up myself.

Constantly Deliver the wrong mail…. Return parcels to the depot that we have requested to leave in a safe place and claim we weren’t in… well yeah, that’s why we requested them to be left in a safe place! Also complaints mean nothing to these people.
