Uxbridge Magistrates' Court

Agree. Staff (door staff, custody officers and duty solicitors) all seem to display a certain lack of professionalism, as if they are above the law and are happy to laugh at those who have been unfortunate enough to be detained. Have also witnessed abusive shouting from duty solicitors to detainees twice on separate occasions during this year.

Been here several times.. always been treated with respect.. had to wait a little longer than I wanted but all got resolved in the end.. building needs to be refurbished and renewed.. I met some good people.. especially the security staff but also the building champion who helped me no end.. thank you..

Very easy to access and lots of information as you enter about what you need to do and where to go - on arrival.

Easy to find though depending on why you are there your experience may be good or bad lol.

Received a hot, sweet coffee on arrival, which was nice as I didn’t even have to ask, or wait for it. The food was basically completely cold unfortunately though, but as i was hungry it wasn’t that bad.

Serco staff seem quite friendly though, and there was some nice drawings to look at.

Extremely shame, citizens advice staff were excellent, but general organisation of courts a complete shamble, including c.p.s, first time round had to wait 3hrs in waiting room , only to be told , case is adjourned, a month later , another 3 hrs in waiting room , they forgot about me , man pleaded guilty, except no one told, me, hence another 3 hrs in waiting room. Finally I was informed I could go. Seriously I know the wheels of justice is slow, but this was frozen in time.

Despite all the bad reviews, i had a great experience there. The staff were all proffesional, i didnt see anyone behaving rude as it says on most peoples reviews and the judge lady gave a fair punishment and was very understanding. Thankyou

This court doesn’t deserve even 1 star.
Called the contact number and more than 1 hour still ringing and still no answer.
Why put out a contact number to call if no one will answer. Waste of time.
