Watford County Court

I have had a series of cases dealt from the Family court, between 2016 and now. In all occasions, the family team has been nothing short of willing to reply to my messages using the designated email, contact me in very quick times to discuss matters on the phone, issue duplicate paperwork and do their best to their ability to give directions. The telephone centre that can be called, has also been in many cases very helpful to pass urgent queries to the Family Team. On the most important point, the Judges and Magistrates that I have been in their chambers (9 in Watford Family Court - both buildings in Watford) they handle my cases with respect and delivered Justice. In the event that someone chooses to represent themselves, the court system is again there to help them, which was very much appreciated in my case. Finally, the facilities are the best I have seen in the UK and I have been in many courts (Family and Criminal in the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire county). I have no idea where the bad reviews are coming from.

Awful service, paid for Court hearing and allowed plenty of time to let Court know I couldn't attend in person. All evidence sent via Recorded Delivery. Judge dismissed case as I wasn't in attendance even though the Court advised it would be reviewed in my absence if notice was given. Now appealing via 3rd party process as Court response via email/telephone is pathetic/appaling.

No response to emails sent to WCC and no one answering the phones. Does anyone work there? Need to pay for a trial, but no information on how to pay?!!

They are 52 working days behind while a false claim against me is having bailiff action taken within a few days. Not the staffs fault, but the underfunding and understaffing is a joke and causing victims of rogue claimants serious distress. Filed a complaint on the .gov website and emailed the ministry of justice. Sent emails everywhere to try to get resolved.

Desperately need judiciary intervention now as they didn't process my N244 after a month. Resorting to hounding them and several other email addresses to chase for justice to actually be served and for my case to be rightfully heard in court so i can defend it.

The justice system is broken. If you can't afford a solicitor, if someone files a false claim against you, having a judge sort it out is a carnival of stress and prolonged processes

Seriously behind, had a case delayed from April 2022 to Jan 2023, then another 30 days wait just to find out the result. Not impressed with the customer service either. If you have the choice of court, don't use this one!

Court has poor service and unprofessional staff. No one responds to emails promptly, this is a court they need to be taking people seriously. The admin staff make more mistakes in court documents.the tribunal complaint service is even worse they waste claim time further by making error in appeal documents. I requested my case to be bought to a sooner date as there was a potential medical foul play by a GP Dr but the tribunal team felt it doesn't need a sooner date.

Horrific re Employment tribunal
Reported this court to higher up government department for investigation as ignore all communications for a year but respondant to respondant immediately to deliberately jepodise cases

Court not following any procedures or processes meant to . They just ignore you.

As with other reviewers same thing theyve been doing for 6 years back it seems

They had our original review took down to hid what they did

Now filed our claim to be held at different court as a result. Much relief at filing with another court.
