The Currency Club

Local businesses were offering usurious rates on buyback of US dollars, one of the world’s hardest currencies. The currency club gave me near market rates, meaning I saved some $140 on a transaction involving no more than $1200. It cost me £10 in special mail delivery charges, but it was well worth it. The transaction was swift and hassle-free, and the sterling was in my account within a couple of days. Recommended.

Yet again excellent service from The Currency Club and one of the best exchange rates on offer for the currencies I needed. Ordered late Sunday evening, was a bit concerned that my currency would not arrive in time for Wednesdays as I'd left it late to place the order and the weren't particularly common currencies. Should have had no concerns received an email 1st thing Monday morning to say my currency would be delivered next day by Royal Mail. Tuesday by 1pm. Order actually received at 08.30 well before time. Would definitely recommend.

After years of being my currency from the usual high street places, I discovered I can get much better exchange rates from The Currency Club, both buying and selling back my unused currency. Ordering couldn't be easier, paying either by debit card or bank transfer, communications were great from start to finish, postage is free after a certain purchase amount (£500 from memory) and my currency arrived two days earlier than anticipated (ordered on Thursday evening, arrived Saturday morning). I genuinely cannot fault TCC!

I've used the Currency Club a number of times for buying travel money (Euros). Their exchange rates are always competitive and usually rated near the top of any comparison websites. Never had any bother, ordering is easy online, and the package always arrives when they say it would. Nice to find a totally reliable company these days.

Looking for travel money then try the Currency Club. I trawled the net looking for the best deal and found that the Currency club was the best not only for exchange rate but service too. Extremely easy to place an order and have it delivered or transferred to your account.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. Firstly the positives - good exchange rates, definitely better than the high street, easy ordering and delivered on time. The negatives - don't bother requesting small or mixed bills, I requested mixed and got $100's. Like a previous reviewer said, who wants to hand a $100 note over for a hot dog or coffee! I emailed them a complaint and got a 'sorry but not sorry' kind of reply.

Than Tesco or the post office. Even after paying an optional £4 next day delivery charge for Royal Mail signed for express delivery. It was about an hour late but I put that down to the postal strike. Good communications too. Answered a query I had very promptly and personally
