Huge entertaining village. A lot of walking but worth it. Safe surroundings and everyone happy. Singing and dancing all the way. Even though thousands of people, there was no trouble and silly drunk people, a proper family event all there for the music.

What can you say about Glastonbury that hasn't already been said. We love coming here and every time it's a unique experience. Yes the loos stink, yes there are a lot of people but the atmosphere is amazing. Singing along to Mr McCartney until your voice is just a croaky squeak is just amazing. Walking down the hill in the morning or walking up it at night you never get over the shear scale of the place. Already looking forward to firing up the PC's, laptops and mobile phones in the hope of getting tickets again for next year!

Working at Glastonbury festival and definitely not what people make it out to be. Some bits were great and other bits not so great.
To much drugs paraphernalia laid about as kids ran around and played around it (not the best really). Better family friendly festivals out there (IOW, CARFEST, Kendal Calling etc)
WiFi constantly down on site meaning cash payments only. Lack of seating/benches about for those needing it.

The best bits were areas that weren't heavily crowded and the sunsets were great.

Really good festival and definitely worth attending if you haven't as its one of a kind. So much is going on that there is something for everyone. Not just the music but activities and events taking place all over the festival.

I believe the festival could have ran better if there were more staff on the exits/entrances allowing the flow of people to move more efficiently.

It's also very expensive to eat & drink at the festival. The scheme of a £5 meal isn't really helpful when the meal is extremely small (sometimes just a small toastie! Which isn't a meal and more a snack). So your forced to spend the average £10-£15 for each meal.

Overall fantastic festival and worth the ordeal of 5 days camping.

Wonderful experience at the home of Glastonbury Festival for Worthy Pastures. Couldn't recommend more highly. Volunteers and staff were brilliant, extremely clean facilities, lovely bar and a fantastic pitch overlooking the Pyramid stage.
