I thought we were the only ones who would be complaining about the cancelling appointments at short notice. My husband had one booked in May following previous appointments being cancelled for the 4th time. We got a letter last week to say the May appointment has been cancelled. Since our original dentist left its gone down hill. I've told them to take us off their register. My husband had a tooth filled by the new dentist & has had pain ever since he didn't have any pain before that. Won't be recommending them to anybody.

They have always gone out of the way to be helpful. Hygienist is great and the dentist i see is brilliant. Reception staff always helpful. It is not the fault of the staff they are stretched, shortage of dentists etc.... they are doing a brilliant job given staffing issues

Absolutely first class care and attention from the highly professional and hardworking team at mydentist in Aylsham, from reception through to treatment, based on two recent visits, and, through ownership and personnel changes, nearly 30 years of looking after me and my family.

So today I saw Mr Plamen Tsankov to have a tooth extraction..

I was very nervous because of a bad experience with another dentist. I told the dentist this, and he treated me with good humour and care.

He removed it and I never felt a thing not during or hours after.. Very happy to be starting my new smile journey with My dentist Aylsham...

Was really pleased to hear that they were taking on NHS patients so emailed straightaway and had a response asking for details and contact number so as they could call us and make a appointment and then register my wife also phoned up and stayed in a que for about 17 mins and was number 7 in que when she got to number 2 in the que she was cut off so she phoned back and left a message but did not hear anything back so I emailed today to be told they had not received any messages from us or phone calls so we sent proof to them and then another excuse materialised that they had not received any call or message from us strange considering I have proof of two calls being made on the date I mentioned not very good customer service to be made feel I was lying

Phillipa the hygienist is really good. Problem is with regular cancellation of appointments to see a dentist. My last appointment was cancelled by them without my knowledge and they insisted I had cancelled it. That was not the case. Administration errors can easily be made and an apology would have been accepted. Effectively telling me I was lying is not acceptable.

I have always hated the dentist through bad experiences. I mean literally spent my life avoiding them. I went for a check up and was told I needed a tooth removed before I would suffer not having it removed. It was a back molar and how I dragged myself there I don't know but I did because I knew of the consequences if I didn't. I'm glad I did because because the lady dentist there was amazing factual gentle got the job done and no pain. Healed up well I would highly recommend this dentist especially since its a new dentist to the last 1 who wasn't so kind or thorough in there work. Thankyou!

Rejoined the practice as a private patient. Thought this would be expensive but in many ways it is the same or cheaper than NHS if you have to pay. Very happy with dental check-up and Phillipa the hygienist.

Really felt for the receptionist having to deal with an IT system that is letting the practice down. She was being patient and kind to upset and frustrated people whose appointments had been lost. None of this was her fault but she had to take the brunt of the annoyance. She is a credit to the practice.
