Mydentist, North Street, Exeter

Overall everyone here are lovely and respectful. However, incidents such as today are the reason for my 2 stars. Firstly I rang up to double check my appointment is still on as they often get cancelled. I have been then informed that my appointment is postponed until later in the day so good thing i called and checked beforehand otherwise i may of only found this out on arrival. So lingering around waiting for an hour and 30 minutes, I get to my appointment 10 minutes early. Only to wait for a further 40 minutes to be seen. Then asked to update my medical history form after about 30 minutes of sitting around staring at the walls just 5 minutes before my dentist finally came out to see me. Due to all the waiting around I've missed multiple chances to get home after a long day at work. Not ideal really. 3 hours in total spent on and around this appointment! I can understand an appointment over running by a few minutes but 40 minutes? All this at a price of a 5 minute check up with not a whole great deal of options to fix worsening dental issues.. the people there are great, but the service and time keeping management is disappointing to say the least. Soon as I'm home its time for bed. Nothing but stress out of this day.. 3 hours of my life I'm never getting back lol.

Good NHS dental care but I have had too many appointments cancelled by them. I then have to wait months before I can make another, which is even more months away.

I rang my dentist again today. My last check-up was in November 2019. I was told that I have to continue waiting until September before I can even ring again to make an appointment.

Eventually managed to get an appointment, with exceptional help by one of the receptionists (the blonde pretty lady) she was extremely helpful. Dental treatment is superb & made me feel at ease whilst having ongoing treatment.

I am an NHS patient and the practice is very good. My dentist is nice and helpful. I have very bad teeth and he was kind to me.

On our first appointments back since the pandemic we noticed the practice had had a little makeover. We also noticed our lovely regular receptionist Kelly P was absent. However, after a few mins she appeared and was as lovely as ever. She definitely makes a good first impression and is so helpful. . We then saw our Dentist Rob who has to be the most polite and gentle dentist ever. His assistant is really friendly too. The team make an anxious situation as calm and relaxing as possible. Thank you for a great team effort

I called them to make sure the appointment I've booked is still available... the lady on the phone said I am not registered which is weird because 3-4 days before I got registered and got the appointment too ...but the lady just ended the phone call without saying anything ! 👎🏻

I saw my dentist this morning. I have issues with my teeth but my dentist was great. He talked me through what was happening, why it was happening and what we could do to help make it better. He talked through what I could do once it was all sorted. He is calm and explains everything which helps put me at ease. I wish we’d had school dentists like this gentleman.

The receptionists are helpful and I always find them friendly.

I had an emergency and arrived with no appointment. Never been in so much pain. The girls on the front desk were so helpful re-arranging appointments with other patients just so that I could be seen. Maddiee, Jade and Heidi went above and beyond their duty and took care of me through my whole visit. Could not have been prouder of these young ladies they are a credit to the NHS. The Dentist and assistant were incredible and making sure I didn't suffer any more than I had to with the pain I was experiencing. Thanks you all from the bottom of my heart.
