Forest Road Dental Practice - Loughborough

Phoned and asked for an emergency appointment and the woman said they're private and not taking NHS patients, I told her I wasn't asking as an NHS patient but privately and she then went on to tell me again that unfortunately they don't see NHS patients.... Stupid and patronising. She then admitted they have no clinicians on today.

I was not referred by 111. I Googled dentists and phoned whatever number was on Google. At no point did I say anything about the NHS, it is just the patronising attitude of your employees assuming that anyone calling for an emergency appointment is too stupid to understand from your website that you are not an NHS dentist. Your employees make this uneducated assumption and don't listen to people clearly stating they are not asking about NHS services.

Thank you Ray, and team, for making my experience of preparation for a first crown ever, not as daunting as I had anticipated. Ray is always calming and informative during any procedure. The whole Practice is so well managed.

Reading other reviews here, the word that is used often is 'calming', and that is my experience too. Having had a recent visit to rebuild a tooth that broke on holiday, I felt in very capable hands and very reassured by the care and attention shown throughout the whole of my visits. The team is friendly and professional, and the quality of work is, from my lay perspective, outstanding.

He takes time to explain what is needed to be done, gives alternative strategies and helps me to come to a decision. I feel it is my treatment not his imposed treatment. Thank you Ray. This was my first appointment with Ray, although I have been with the practice for many years and it has always been excellent. I was very impressed with Ray's friendly, welcoming manner and look forward to continuing my relationship with the practice long into the future.

Everyone at this practice goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and supported. The receptionists, dental nurses and assistants, hygienists and dentists are so skilled and highly professional. Any nerves one might have are soon dispelled. Excellent, quality practice. All staff made me feel very welcome. The Covid safety procedures were very good. I have been isolating for over 12 months and I was very worried about attending the surgery. I worried needlessly, I was completely safe. Thank you.

We really love this whole dental practice! They have been great with our entire family (including our three young kids), and Dr. Ray has been so wonderful at helping me with a long-existing problem I’ve been too anxious to speak with other dentists about. We can’t recommend them enough.
