Broadwater Dental Practice

I have been using Broadwater dental clinic for over 30 years and can highly recommend them.
Sonia is particularly calming during the complex treatment that I have received there and does a wonderful job of putting nervous patients like myself at ease during treatment.
She carefully explains different treatment options and shows how she can achieve the best results for your dental needs.
I have always been able to get treatment whenever I have needed it and the receptionist staff are happy to book appointments around my shift work.

Sonal and the Team are lovely!! I am very nervous of the dentist and because if that have had issues with my Teeth. Since coming to Broadwater Dental I've been welcomed, made to feel comfortable and received excellent care and treatment. I would highly recommend Broadwater Dental especially if, like me you get nervous. Everyone is kind and caring and make you feel at ease.

This dentist is a mix of NHS and Privatization band.
You have to book slots to get in. The appointment slot seems to start anywhere from a month & 1/2 to up to 3 months It's a waiting game for people on the NHS band.
All early slots seemed to be fully booked up for just the private band. (This was based on an early appointment)re-edited

From my recent visit, the staff are welcoming and friendly.

Great Practise, such helpful staff. My Dentist was Sonal Patel who I have seen on more than one occasion, she is so good and professional at her job and puts your mind at ease during her greeting and obtaining necessary details. I Highly recommend Broadwater
Surgery. Never experienced anything except a high level of customer care and attention to detail. A great surgery with exceptional staff.

Staff are very friendly, professional and caring. Dentists are articulate.

The issue I had which let themselves down was with my last appointment with a dentist identifying staining/plaque build up which requires a scale and polish (part of their service/obligation during a check up service, private or NHS)
Therefore are picking and choosing whether they want to carry out this duty or not then persuade you to see the hygienist at a cost!
A profiting opportunity many dentists are getting away with and neglecting their patients.

I managed to get an appointment promptly as I was concerned about my teeth. Dr Patel was able to spot the issue straight away and we discussed invasive treatments but she said she would rather wait 3 months to see how things went. I was advised on diet and the correct toothpaste etc to see if the tooth got better. I really appreciate d thus instead of going down the surgery route. Dr Sonsl then advised me to see the hygienist. I was a bit apprehensive as I've only ever seen a,dentist. Mr James was very calming and talked everything through with me before giving my teeth a full air polish. The treatment was slightly uncomfortable however Dr James and his nurse made sure I was comfortable. Again I was given fantastic advice on the correct way of brushing and flossing.

My 2 year old was very happy sitting in the chair, the dentist was very gentle with him. And he got up and was happy. I believe he felt safe and comfortable at the dentist.

Had a dental appointment this morning for a six monthly check up and could not be happier with the service provided. Staff were extremely friendly and everything was carried out in a caring and professional manner.
