Something started to go wrong with this dentist. Called up the other day to book in for a filling, they confirmed over the phone I am still an NHS patient. Arrived at dentist for 9am (their first appointment), they didn't let me in until 9.15. Then I was told I had to prepay for treatment £22.70. I said I need a filling and they told me I would have to rebook for a filling after my assessment. I said that would I then pay the difference next time between band 2 and band 1 treatments. The reception said yes. Then I go into the dentist room and I tell her I need a filling, she looked in my mouth for 2 seconds and agreed. She then told me that I cannot have the band 2 treatment as they are not providing NHS treatment at the moment because of covid they haven't been provided with ppe so the practice is offering private fillings for £65 as a deal. I asked why they didn't tell me this on the phone when I said I need a filling or with the receptionist outside? Also they were wearing ppe at the time when I was paying for NHS band 1! They said it's private ppe, I said so why are you letting me have band 1 treatment? Something they could not answer. Then they said I can wait until they provide NHS treatment knowing full well my tooth could deteriate. Then the next private appointment they could do is a month away!! Absolute joke. Dentist was saying its only another £22 which is easy for her to say with her £120k salary. Either they are unable to communicate with staff or they are deliberately withholding information when people book so they can swindle people out of more money!

A great dental practice came to see Dr Regina for a general check up and for someone who had a fear of dentist in the past she made me feel so comfortable and was so gentle with me. Would highly recommend this dental practice. Great dentist and a great team there.

For most of my life I have had very little confidence with my smile, mainly due to being born in the 70s and not wanting to go through wearing braces! However, thanks to Dr Regina this is all changing. She has put me on the 'smile-line' program and although it is only 1 month into the course, myself and my family can start to see great improvements.
Dr Regina has been absolutely fantastic throughout the exercise and takes great pride and care in her work. She is very calm and professional and makes you feel comfortable, very considerate with pain and any discomfort throughout the appointments.
The rest of the team are also wonderful. In a whole, its a great dental practice that I would highly recommend.
Thank you.

I had been a patient at this practice for many years but it has gone down hill in recent years.
Also, I, as with many others, have suddenly found out that I have been removed as an NHS patient with no warning, and no reminders, for not making an appointment for two years (I had assumed that it was only emergency appointments being accepted during most of 2020 and then there were people saying that these dentists could not provide NHS treatment because they were having to buy their own PPE, so were only providing private dental care).
Apparently, it's the practice's policy to remove NHS patients after two years without an appointment but you would think a quick reminder, particularly with the current pandemic putting most services on hold and vulnerable people having to shield for months, would have been common courtesy.
They're not taking any new NHS patients so, once you're kicked from the list, you're forced to either pay privately for treatment there or find another dentist.
If you're able to afford private treatment there are better local dental practices than this one.
