Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic

I had a teeth clean here and the service was very good. However the admin person who answers the phone is rude, abrupt and impatient. I find the policy of paying up front for your first appointment rather than a deposit strange too and I expressed a desire not to be xrayed for my initial check up as I have had this done recently and have no issues and view this practice as a way of extracting more cash from new patients by forcing them to pay for unnecessary imaging. The attitude of the person I discussed these concerns with was rude and confrontational. This poor communication happened on two separate occasions months apart. For this reason I have decided to move dentists where the receptionists are more professional and helpful.

I did not have a good experience with this practice. During my first visit, as the dentist checked my gums, I yelped out in pain several times - I even swore - and she continued checking my gums in the same manner, causing extreme pain. She then blamed the pain on the state of my gums in a very critical way. I was so upset by the experience that I started crying. As I was lying down, there were tears collecting in my ears so I could no longer hear what she was saying and I ended up leaving mid appointment. Nobody from the surgery contacted me afterwards to check if I was okay. I had paid for the appointment beforehand (something I have not done with any other dentist) and when I complained and requested a refund, they refused. I accept that a trip to the dentist is sometimes uncomfortable, but I’ve never had a dentist ignore my distress before. I had chosen this dentist because of the positive reviews and the caring ethos promoted on their website, but none of this was reflected in my experience.

Very polite, reassuring staff even when I had bad anxiety afterwards. Dentist was very knowledgeable and offered sedation and clear care plans. Really clean facilities and modern :)

Also want to thank dr Slavek Stobiecki and the dental nurses for my amazing transformation with Invisalign ! The whole process I was made to feel comfortable and treated with care , also the facilities are modern and clean , I can't recommend enough !

In every way a positive review for me based on my 1/ root canal.
The tooth was saved expert diagnosis, treatment and follow up.
2/ check up, It was thorough and reassuring to me that my dental needs were in good hands.
3/ hygienist I am pleased that they are sensitive to my needs and treat me in a way that I am comfortable with.
I am nervous and my teeth are sensitive but I am happy to go to this practice and would recommend to anyone.

Booked an appointment at Highfield Dental Clinic as wife said they are good, she wasn't wrong, had my first two appointments and this was to see what treatment Ineeded and they worked out a plan showing what I needed and all the cost, great discussions and listened to what I wanted done first as well.

What a very professional practice. Dr Slavek and team are amazing, very friendly and comforting. I would not hesitate to recommend as you will not be disappointed, they provide plenty of great services from Invisalign, implants to specialist root canal treatments or surgical extractions!! Definitley they will help you to make your smile a better one 🙂
