Cathedral Dental Practice

I’ve been a patient at Cathedral dental practice for a few years now. One of the reason why I chose this practice is because they specialise in holistic dentistry and they also deal with anxious patients. I had a few bad experiences of dentist when I was younger, which made me have a fear of going to the dentist for many years. On my first visit at Cathedral dental practice everyone was so friendly and made me feel so relaxed. They have helped me overcome my fear and I look forward to my visits. I have plenty of dentist local to me, but I still take the 2hr round trip as they are totally worth it. I really can't praise them enough.

My experience with Cathedral Dental Practice has been outstanding! I’ve long feared trips to the dentist and can happily say the staff here have not only made me feel welcome but they’ve also kept me calm and composed during my visits. If you fear the dentist, this is the place to be!

This practice is amazing. I have a son with complex dental problems and I looked everywhere including Harley St to find a dentist I was comfortable with and a dentist that wouldn’t extract any of his teeth (he had overcrowding and all other practices wanted to extract at least one of his teeth). He had treatment here and now has a lovely set of teeth with no overcrowding, his bite is good and he kept all his teeth. I would definitely recommend.

Being on Holiday from Australia we happened to land in Portsmouth on the Bank holiday weekend at the end of August. Joy of all joys I developed an abscess below a rear molar that I had had a root canal on years ago. I could not get in anywhere as an emergency over the weekend (so was left in extreme pain from more than 3 days) then when practices open on Tuesday no one was interested in trying to help, even though I was more than happy to pay cash. Fortunately when all help seemed lost as I was flying to Dublin the following day for a wedding I was lucky enough to call Cathedral and talk to the lovely Caroline. At my appointment that after noon Josef went out of his way to help. He gave me unbelievable service over the next 2 hours removing the tooth, the abscess cleaning the bone and stitching me up. I was then armed with antibiotics and able to continue on to Ireland and the rest of my holiday. I can’t thank them enough for their compassion and professionalism….
