I wouldn't recommend the smile clinic
My hygienist had covid but she didn't know I paid then they re arranged my appointment. For a earlier time I couldn't do I told them . I had poor care , from this colchester clinic I'm still finding a dentist 😐. My autistic child was crying . I was basically told to go private I can not afford that . Worst in Colchester
I had told them.i was scared due to my hysterectomy and they didn't care my mouth is still in pain 😔 and thanks to this dentis worst place ever

Mr Parker is very thorough and professional. Great experience. The staff are also very friendly and polite.

Excellent service from Mr Prasher , very thorough examination, always make me as a very nervous patient feel at ease , Lauren Mr Prasher dental nurse also very good and professional, reception staff very efficient and polite .Have been seeing Smile Clinic for over 25 years and would not consider any other dental practices , very happy

I would not recommend the hygienist appointment in this clinic to anyone. I have received awful and inadequate service.
Recently I had attended Hygienist’s appointment booked online and paid £59. The online booking system automatically allocated 30 minutes for the session. On the day of appointment hygienist named Sophie Court only used ultrasonic and hand scaler to clean plaque/tartar. No polishing, flossing or jet spay sessions were conducted as should have done in the hygienist appointment. Towards the end of the session (not at the beginning or prior), she told me that this session usually requires 45 minutes at the price of £70. She did only she could in 30 minutes. No one from the clinic advised me before the session that hygienist appointment requires 45 minutes, and I would only be provided partial service by the hygienist. I did not have any problem paying £70 for 45 minutes. As explained before online portal did not have an option to select length of session either 30 minutes or 45 minutes. The booking was automatically selected 30 minutes. As polishing and spraying were not done, it left me with an uncomfortable feeling after the session. I am told by the hygienist to book another appointment in three months’ time. Awful service. Do not recommend to anyone.

I am very anxious about going to the dentist, and haven't been to one in over 2 years. As soon as I walked in, the dentist just put me at ease with her understanding of my anxiety. I have booked 2 appointments without the fear of going back. Very happy 😊 for the first time in years I didn't have any anxiety about attending my follow-up appointment. I had treatment with the hygienist which went well she was calm and understanding and advised me on how I could improve by usinga product. Then into the dentist chair, 😬but straight away made me feel at ease. I had a crown and extraction in one sitting. I walked away feeling proud 😌 the dentist and nurse were so good with me keeping me calm and relaxed thank you so much 😊

After a deeply negative experience at another practice some time ago, I finally took the plunge and returned to a dentist. Due for three relatively deep fillings and a single extraction, I was very very anxious. Dr Omair and his colleague were brilliantly informative and reassuring whilst being very frank about the nature of the treatment needed, possible risks and everything else I needed to know.

I can't fault my experience with The Smile Clinic and Dr Omair and I can say, with confidence, that I am no longer afraid of returning (though hopefully it will just be for routine check-ups from now on).

I had the pleasure of Maddie and (Another lady but I cant recall her name, I think it could have been Sophie) providing me with the very best hygienist experience I have ever had. I left motivated to follow a plan and know exactly what I need to do to get back on track with my oral hygiene. Something I had let slip after less positive experiences in the past.

Both made me feel very at ease and constantly checked on my well-being throughout the two sessions. My faith has been restored and I'm looking forward to going back to see my progress.
