Priory House Dental Centre

My family and I started using this practice back in 1996, then in 2014 moved away from the area. Having tried out two local practices over the last 9 months, I realized that Priory House would be hard to match, and I have now returned to them, despite it being a 70 mile round trip. Why? Well, I feel as if my teeth are in safe hands (not literally!) - they really do listen, discuss, and treat you as an individual. I get understanding, not a lecture, thorough checking and thorough treatment, at prices which are comparable to elsewhere. Oh, and everyone I see there, from receptionist, to dentist and hygienist are all highly approachable, friendly and caring. I could not ask for anything more.

Being an extremely nervous patient, particularly with dental treatment I can’t recommend Priory House highly enough! All the team are incredibly patient and understanding of this, and go out of their way to make me feel at ease. I’m never rushed through treatment and always have my options discussed thoroughly through with me with no pressure whatsoever. I’ll never change practice

Had problems during lockdown - all the dentists at Priory so supportive and helpful when i had problems - practical and caring. Felt very safe when i finally went in for my treatment after lockdown lifted - well organised, good information on what to expect and excellent, pragmatic therapy - doing as much in one session as possible. Thank you.

I knew straight away I was in safe hands with my dentist Dr Gethin Howell and nurse Millie White.

I was fitted with composite bonds top and bottom 🦷, I'm extremely happy with the end result.

Sadly my last 2 visits have not been good. I was told to bring my young daughter to all my checkups even before she needed to a dentist herself. I did this. The first time was great. She sat on my lap and watched in happiness. My last visit the dentist was annoyed she was there. He wouldn't let me reassure her whilst she sat crying on a chair the other side of the room as he was rushing.. He was called to help someone else after my appt so rushed his way through mine. All very rude. Will be finding a new practice.

I was very pleased with my experience at priory house. I was very anxious at first but my dentist Dr Mohan and his nurse Amy made me feel at ease. I feel much better about coming back next time. Highly recommend to anyone trying to find a dentist at the moment.

We always have such a great customer journey at Priory House from the reception desk through to our super talented dentist Dr Howell.
He has recently done the most fantastic work on building up my teenagers teeth. She and I totally trusted him to do a good job and the result is better than good it is brilliant! Highly highly recommend.

My wife had an extremely poor experience with this dentist after she attended to have treatment for a filling. She was left in pain for two weeks after the procedure was botched. As a result she had to go back for a repair which has still left her with problems biting using the tooth in question. Now the surgery seems to be dragging its feet on issuing a full refund despite admitting fault. We would not recommend this dentist from our experience.
