Longford Dental Centre

This practice has gone seriously downhill in the last couple of years . I was always treated by Mr Mc Cormac . Who has now disappeared. I was not told why when I enquired . The man I saw was useless . Several of my teeth had broken (old age) . He offered no treatment . I said do ii have to wait until they fall out . He said yes . I think he was a locum . So not really bothered 😡

It saddens me to give such a low score but since Mr McCormick has left the surgery isn't the same. The last dentist we saw was not very friendly, with bringing two children friendliness goes a long way, he spoke about them as though they weren't even there. Now trying to get a follow up appointment is near impossible because I can't get anyone to answer the phone. So sad as coming to the dentist was actually a fairly pleasant experience which my children never minded now they really don't want to go.

I wouldn't recommend this butcher. I had a tooth removed in 2020 I then had dry socket which took age's to heal. I have been in dreadful pain I can't eat much any food I eat has to be plain and cut small .I'm still drinking through a straw. I see a specialist last Thursday and she as confirmed the dentist who extracted the tooth 2 years ago broke my jawbone and damaged the complete trigeminal nerve leaving me with trigeminal neuralgia and there is nothing they can do the only thing they suggest was to see a neurologist to try and control pain with meds.

It's changed since I was last here it's so much nicer and not a long wait either
All the staff are very nice I'm very happy with my visit

Have had a follow up visit to repair a chipped tooth. Such a good job much prefer this dentist to Mr McCormack she's more through gentle and there was no pain at all. My tooth looks like it's never been chipped 😀😁

This dental practice is amazing. Emma the dentist puts me at ease. And Kaye the receptionist is beyond helpful. 5 stars all round xxxx

They have not renewed their NHS contract and are now "independent" which is of course marketing BS for "paid only". This is true for kids too. Just another one of the 1000 cuts.

The practice no longer offers NHS treatment. My private check up cost £30 (which I had to pay up front) and took less than 2 minutes. Despite telling me she couldn't see any problems, the dentist then wanted to take 2 X-rays which she said were part of the check up but would cost another £15. She then said if I wanted my teeth descaled (which was included in an NHS checkup) I would have to make another appointment. What a rip-off. I won't be going back.

I was offered to do a 3D X-Ray by one of the dentists in that clinic with an appointment in the Maidstone Hospital in 2019. I did my X-Ray and bring CD to the receptionist in the same month, expecting a refer to Orthodontist farther from them. I didn't hear from practice since that time. Also, I was trying to make an appointment for my husband and they said he is not registered in that clinic anymore! How it could happen? They stop communicating with us! No phone calls, no mail, no text, no letters, nothing! We thought they closed due pandemic or on repair, they didn't pick up the phone... they should provide at least a letter warning us that we should make an appointment with them, otherwise will be out of their list. They just remove us from their list without warning. Now we cant register anywhere else, all clinics are fully booked. Very, very unhappy with the customer service there!!
