St Dunstans Dental Practice and Specialist Referral Centre

About time I wrote a review! For years this practice has shown me care and sensitivity - always welcoming, always skilled and efficient. Sam and Aisha have been so supportive that I have completely forgotten my phobia of 20 years ago. A trip to the dentist or hygienist is (almost!) a delight, now. Thanks to both of you and to your assistants.

I had a couple of large deep fillings replaced recently and thought it time to leave some long overdue feedback. I have been a patient of Aisha AlShawaf for over 20 years and would honestly say that she is the best dentist I’ve ever visited, she always keeps me informed about my treatments and procedures and continually checks that I am not in any discomfort or pain during any procedure. I also see Christina Campbell who is my hygienist and would recommend her to anyone, she always does an excellent job. These ladies are my star team backed up by the rest of the practice staff who are always professional and friendly.

I was referred here to have a wisdom tooth removed and I was very, very nervous. The lady who removed my tooth was so kind and friendly, explained the entire process to me and made me feel so much better. Tooth removal was completely painless and much quicker than I thought! Although its not that important the design/interior aesthetic of the dentist is really nice and welcoming. Reception staff I spoke to were really nice aswell. Thank you ☺️

Over the past year my previously bridged front teeth have been replaced by dental implants. The level of care has been excellent across the board. I hardly, if ever, waited for any appointment (and there were many). The staff were always polite and helpful. Mr Bhatti was clear about pricing and treatment at the start. He took real care. He followed up. When I had queries, I rang or emailed and he responded swiftly, even at weekends. He was interested and he wanted me to be too, so that the end result would be exactly what I wanted. He explained each step as we went, carefully documented it with photos, and carried out the treatment to a high quality. I feel I received an extremely good and thoughtful service, highly professional, friendly and efficient. If I were to start the process again, I would definitely go back to the same surgery.

My husband was referred to St Dunstans for an extraction. He has never been fond of visiting the dentist but has to admit that his experience today greatly reassured him. The dentist was very gifted, she put him at ease, explained every stage of the procedure. She had truely gifted hands and showed great knowledge and professionalism. An excellent experience. I've just received outstanding care from Dr. Surinder Bhatti and his team at St.Dunstans.

From childhood, I had numerous dental extractions for 'overcrowding' and in latter years lost a few more teeth due to dental abscess. I was finding eating difficult and becoming embarrassed about eating with friends. My confidence was affected and to a certain extent my general health.
Having visited the dentist regularly all my life and taking care with oral hygiene, I was dismayed at this situation. I was told that because of an 'unusual' shaped mouth/ palate, a removable denture would not be possible in the long term and dental implants were a definite 'no' because of low sinuses and poor, inadequate jaw bone.
I sought a second opinion from Surinder after a google search. BINGO ! He was definitely the dentist I needed. All options were explored and discussed after careful examination, x-rays and scans. An accurate estimate of cost of work to be carried out was given and now after a process lasting approximately 18 months I am delighted with the results. I had 7 implants in total. All work was carefully explained and care was taken to eliminate pain. I felt extremely safe and was able to trust Surinder throughout. I am able to enjoy food again and eat with confidence.
This dental practice was a precious find. The whole team: receptionists, dental nurses, hygienists and dentists work together with their own expertise to provide a highly professional service. I would highly recommend. Thankyou Surinder and your team
