A dentist appointment is never a pleasant experience, but the receptionist at AG dentistry manage to make it even worse. As I had not been to the dentist in a while, I have been told that first, there was no check up available, then after telling them I only needed stitches removed they said that because I hadn't visited in a while I would have to wait another month and a half to be seen.

Rude and unprofessional on their part.

Amazing care and treatment given to my primary aged daughter who had incurred teeth injury at the school playground. She was taken here & without being register was seen in minutes given high quality advice & care. Many thanks! You are the best Dr Maha Hashim!

Have stopped using this dentist (AG Dentistry in Kensal Rise)

Dr Aarti Shah apparently only nows sees children privately and no longer accepting NHS bookings. It was impossible to get an appointment during Covid and for a long time afterwards. I was told we were number 1 on their waitlist at the end of last year and that they would call wen. I have never heard from them to offer an appointment almost a year on!

The last hygienist appointment I had was appalling and very non-attentive, courteous or constructive. They were more focused on selling me a whitening treatment without answering my questions or explaining it was an added cost / how much etc.
When questioned, I just got rude responses. An unpleasant experience.

As for my child's treatments, the dentist has always been quite negative despite the fact that her teeth are in pretty good shape. No care for a child’s self esteem or any reward efforts. All a bit hardcore and downbeat.

-Did they ever contact me to offer an appointment as promised? No!
-Do they reply to any emails? No!
-Can you reach them by phone easily? Hardly!
-Are you seen quickly when you arrive for your appointment on time? No! You can be waiting for a very long time and no indications from the receptionist.

This is a poor practice, terrible customer service and treatment. We won’t be going back.

Get a second opinion! I went to this dentist for a NHS check-up. I have never had a filling and have had check-ups every 6 months by my original dentist in Edinburgh. All of a sudden this dentist says I need 6 fillings at £180 each and adds pressure to get it done the following week. I have since gone back to my original dentist who could not disagree more. I have been recommended one minor filling that can be done for £20 and that is all. I will not be returning to A G again, from my experience it's a total scam.

Awful practice - don't bother. My kids haven't been able to see a dentist for 2 years because they keep cancelling the appointments. I am pretty sure my daughter needs a filing and braces and my son has problems with adult teeth coming through but can't access any help! I tried making and appointment back in September and they said they would see my kids IF I PAID for an appointment! This is with the same NHS dentist they always see for free. Is that even legal?? I then managed to get a free appointment in 6 weeks time which they now cancelled. I don't know what is going within this practice but you have failed my children's teeth - shame on you. Very disappointed. Will be looking for a new practice for my whole family, might just go completely private. Dr Kayvan has be great to me and I am sad to have to look for another practice but I just can't deal with them anymore. If you want to keep your patients, please look after them better.

Great practise and very friendly respectful staff at reception. Dr. Kayvan was very helpful and made my experience much better than previous dentists I have had in the UK. I definitely recommend the practise as it is always difficult to find a dentist that not only you can trust but treat their patrons with respect and take their time. I felt they cared about my well being as they even did a cancer screening which I have not had done anywhere else. I felt I was good hands the whole time and will definitely return.

Highly recommended. Finding a good dentistry clinic is not easy, especially in a big city as London, but this dentistry clinic is quite good. The staff is very friendly and from my experience I can say the practice was good. If you live in Kentish Town and you're looking for a good dentistry clinic, this is the right clinic for you
